The Pentecostal Fellowship Churches, Inc.

DR. MARSHAL L. THOMAS founded the Power of Pentecost, Pentecostal Fellowship Church on May 15, 1996.  This was the first of many churches to become known as the Pentecostal Fellowship Churches, Inc.  Since that time, God has moved upon the hearts of leaders throughout the United States to become affiliated with this Pentecostal fellowship.

During 1999, several churches became affiliated with the Pentecostal Fellowship Churches, Inc.  Those churches which joined the P.F.C., Inc. family were: First Timothy Church, Birmingham, AL; Freedom Holy Ghost Headquarters Mission, Talladega, AL; Holy Deliverance Church, Leeds, AL; B. Wright Ministries, Alabaster, AL; Kevin Turner Ministries, Birmingham, AL; and Nuana Dunlap Ministries, Nashville, TN.  Faith Tabernacle Church of the Living God, Talladega, AL became a part of the P.F.C., Inc. family on February 20, 2000.  Since that time, God has added yet another ministry to the P.F.C., Inc. family known as Coley & Coley Ministries formerly located in Charlotte, NC where Apostles Daryl & Jenell Coley are Pastors.  P.F.C., Inc. was blessed with two other ministries during 2001 known as Glorious Temple Church, Birmingham, AL and Grace Abundant Life Ministries located in Anniston, AL.  He’s still moving by His spirit!!! Jesus Way Kingdom of God of Leeds, Alabama became the “Baby” of the affiliation in 2001 also.

            God has moved in an even greater way for the Pentecostal Fellowship Churches, Inc. since 2001.  At the beginning of 2002, there were 9 churches in the affiliation.  As 2002 began to dawn upon us, God began to add churches almost weekly to the fellowship.  As of November 11, 2002 there are 27 churches in the affiliation and they extend from Alabama to the Philippines.  The names of the new affiliations were Shabach Christian Evangelistic P.F.C., Inc., Open Door Ministry P.F.C., Inc., Holy Deliverance P.F.C., Inc., Citadel of Deliverance P.F.C., Inc., Now Faith Holiness Deliverance P.F.C., Inc., Abundant Harvest P.F.C., Inc., Abundant Life Ministry P.F.C., Anointed Tabernacle P.F.C., Inc., House of Faith Deliverance Ministry P.F.C., Inc., New Harvest Fellowship P.F.C., Inc., Greater Anointing Harvest Church P.F.C., Inc., Shiloh Gospel Temple P.F.C., Inc., Pillar of Glory P.F.C., Inc., WW Ministries P.F.C., Inc.,

Faith Temple Lighthouse P.F.C., Inc., Good News Bible Church P.F.C., Inc. and our overseas affiliation is Shabach Christian Evangelistic Ministry P.F.C., Inc. of the Philippines.

The first annual Power Congress was held May 17-21, 2000 at the headquarters’ church located at 701 West 8^th Street in Sylacauga, Alabama.  This was a time of rejoicing and celebration for all that attended.  Two District Bishops and many ministers, evangelists, psalmists, apostles, deacons, and elders were consecrated for the work of the Lord during this annual convocation.  Special guest speakers, civic leaders, and singers for the conference included Bishop Melvin Cartwright; Dr. G.W.C. Richardson, Jr.; Mayor Jesse Cleveland; Chief of Police Louis Zook; Mary Sue Porter-Hale; Apostle Daryl Coley; Psalmist Nuana Dunlap; Prince Yelder and the Disciples for Christ.  There were many local pastors, evangelists, and ministers from the surrounding cities who supported the conference.  Each annual convocation has been a blessing to those in attendance. Since that time, God has allowed the annual P.F.C. Convocation to be held in such great cities as Birmingham, Alabama, San Angelo, Texas, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Detroit, Michigan.  We look forward to experiencing His power and presence at the 2008 Convention which will be held in San Antonio, Texas.

God is continually blessing this fellowship and we give glory and honor to Him for the great things He is doing.  He’s still moving by His power by adding other churches and ministries to this great fellowship.  Namely, Bible Way Ministries, The Rose of Sharon and many other great churches, missions, and ministries. We thank Him for the many new friends that have been acquired because of this work.  “To God Be The Glory!”
